BEARINGS PARAMETERS

Bearing Clearances

Bearings clearance is a value to which bearing ring can transfer from one end position to

another in radial direction ( radial clearance )- Gr

or in axial direction ( axial  clearance ) - Ga.

Selection of  clearance groups is carried out taking into account bearing fits and the nature of operation  the bearing performs in the assembly unit.

Clearances groups designation is the following:

C2 – radial clearance is less than standard (C0 ).

C0 – normal  radial  clearance.

C3 – radial clearance is less than standard (C0 ).

C4 – radial clearance is more  than C3.

C5 – radial clearance is more than C4.
